Online Christmas shopping well under way in UK says comScore

comScore, the US-based web monitoring firm, has released some stats showing how European retailers are performing so far this Christmas.

UK online shopping was up 23% for the 3rd week of November vs October. This reinforces, they say, the results of their earlier survey where 30% of UK respondents intended to start their Christmas shopping in the first two weeks of November.

This is certainly in line with what we're seeing with our clients - the Christmas frenzy sent Toys R Us straight in at number 31 on the IMRG/Hitwise Hot 50 Shops List for October, coming out on top of Sainsbury's, Dixons and iTunes.
