I noticed today that many online retailers have already stopped accepting orders for guaranteed delivery by Christmas. So I had a quick look at the retailers from our Delivery Report research to see who had the latest deadlines.
This was the top 10 from 155 retailers that I checked. ASOS and Amazon are both offering same-day delivery on 24 December in London to customers within the M25. To the UK as a whole, Ebuyer is leading the way with an 11pm deadline on 23 December.

In fact, 33 of the 155 retailers are accepting orders on 23rd December – that’s 21%, which I thought was quite impressive. Another 25% have set their deadline for Tuesday 22:

What really surprised me though was that only 90 of the retailers had put their delivery deadlines clearly upfront on their homepages. And 30% did not have any Christmas delivery information on their homepages at all, forcing the customer to go and find it elsewhere on the site.
