Boxing Day busiest day for online retailers in 2008

Boxing Day was the busiest day for online retailers during 2008, according to Hitwise UK.
There was 16.2% more traffic heading onto online retail sites on 26 December than on the second busiest day of 2008, which was 30 November. There was also a 22% increase in traffic between Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Dixons says that Christmas Day online sales were up 50% on last year.
